There's more of a shakeup for the global economy with London students protesting tuition hikes to the fear that Ireland's bailout, won't be the only one. And then there's China and Russia that have decided to quit the dollar. RT's Financial Correspondent Lauren Lyster breaks it down.

@RealityGrapple An economy matter isn't a hype at all, because it can effect your daily life if it does have a dramatic change (for better or worse). Just protect yourself with food, water and medical/survival kits. Don't forget have some spare cashes and store golds/silvers. And have an escape plan if all things failed.

@RealityGrapple If you know about free market and investment, then you must know usually a currency's lose is other currency's gain. I may be wrong, but if one day USD does lose it's trust from the investors, they might fly off and land on other currencies which have their value in some sense. Of course, when USD decline, commodities WILL be the safe investments.

@RealityGrapple Well, what choice they have? Because during the late 80's and mid 90's, China's economy is growing and they need customers to buy. So, they had to pegged their currency with USD. And also it's ironic that the current USD that still able to keep U.S. war machine going, was unintended "funded" by the RMB pegged to the USD.

But because of the imported the inflation from U.S., China has planning to internationalize the RMB trading and, store more golds/silvers.

@RealityGrapple A currency's right of survival is base on trust and faith from the populace and, the investors. When the trust and faith gone, inflation/hyperinflation shall be the fate.

When U.S. defaulted the gold standard in 1971, U.S. has officially in fiat money world. Luckily they (the bankers) able to persuade the oil-producing nations to trade oils with USD. But right now, there are countries that try to disconnect the USD's link.
