  • Will this work for freewheel not cassette rear? Do I need to buy a new wheelset? I got a freewheel rear.

  • @suarezphilip yesh but no... a bmx freewheel puts the chainline out far too much. A fresh wheel is best.

  • Thanks for the video, im gonna do a SS conversion in the next months, already done one many years ago just removed the deraileur and cut the chain and used the better aligned cog of the cassete worked great but it was a horizontal dropout

  • @magda1016 bikes without tensioners have frames where you can pull the hub back to take up the chain tension.
