    I was quite lucky. We had an extended gap in the clouds that allowed me to see the event starting at moonrise all the way through to occultation. Sorry to hear you had haze....

  • The time inserter is an STV Astro -- an older model of time inserter no longer in production. I also have a KIWI, but have loaned that out to our college observatory. Telescope is a 12-inch Meade LX200GPS with f3.3 focal reducer.

  • Great Job Tony! Is trhat a KIWI-OSD you used to insert the time? What equipment did you use?
