This is another way to "cheat" those new bearings into their new home in your Maytag Neptune washing machine. If you don't have access to a "Tony Tool", this will work almost as well. The inner bearing (the larger one) is the hardest to work with but using an old steering wheel puller and a metric wrench to turn the threaded portion of the puller made short work of a long job. Remember, "Everything has to be CHEATED!"
found this a little late. i had the same issue on my washer. everywhere parts house i went i kept getting to run around. finally scrapped it and bought a bosch.
