  • Have these people eventually succeeded in changing something? The world today compared to say 1965: What has changed?

  • Indeed the Living Theatre plays and performances have had a significant impact in changing many people's lives (I speak from personal experience) - their work is challenging and at a bare minimum makes people think about important issues. - Craig B. Highberger

  • Excellant to see more of this wonderful performance. Brilliant avant garde improvisational acting. More!

  • Bens39 - thanks! In gratitude I am posting another segment right now. Craig

  • Indeed - I am back in touch with the performer in this scene: she is Stéphanette Vendeville, now teaching theater arts in Paris! She tells me in 2008 one of her courses will be dedicated to the Living Theatre and she has a book coming out!

  • the "woman who knows something about love" is my teacher in Paris, currently.

  • Fantastic! Give her my regards - I will send her a complimentary copy of the DVD.

  • Hippies lol

  • Craig, you simply must post more of this inspiring and outrageous document. I love it. I have been unable to come across any other footage (on the internet) of this particular performance. I suspect you are the sole owner of such? If so - can I purchase? Thx

  • thank you for giving us the real insight into Julian Beck, the master of horror... after seeing this, I feel sad that he's only remembered as Henry Kane... amazing live performance, spirited and inspired! thx again

  • So different from anything I've ever seen. Thanks for posting it
