This was brilliant. I don't do LARP but I have a friend who does; and when I asked him what it was, he told me to watch this video XD. They're obviously a great group of people who are just enjoying themselves.

There are LARP that focuses purely on the combat, but most do a bit of both. If looking for a LARP to join you should investigate if it is mostly combat or roleplay orientated, and same with your group. Many does the hardcore roleplay when at the in character inn, and out and about, but once inside a private tent, will go semi or fully out of character. So you stick your head out, roleplay when in public, go back and chat with your mate in private or out of sight, and fight stuff.
