  • HI what kind of power head u are using? do u have some frag corals u are giving away? I really want to upgrade my tank into a 50 gallon tank I found a used one for 50 bocks at my pet store used tanks are ok right? your light is metal halides right? koralia power head 4 and tunze power head is mostly for the 50 gallon tank but not the 36 gallon bowfront reef tank right? what klind of anemone u have?

  • Those are Koralia pumps, I think they are both #2. I no longer have this tank or corals, just a little 20 gallon for my starfish and puffer. I don't like used tanks: more chance of one leaking and probably all scratched up. These are 150 watt 20k lights. I would think a Koralia 4 would be way too much for a 50 unless you have all hard and stoney corals. This is an unidentified anemone.

  • HI is the light helping corals to grow faster or how did u make them grow faster?

  • The lighting helps alot. There are 2 150watt halides and an extra flourescent actinic on this one. It also helps to do lots of small water changes to introduce fresh trace elements via the salt mix. Keeping the alkalinity, carbonate hardness, and calcium up helps too.

  • very very good...great job...love the purple lobster,,,, do they harass other shrimp and coral, and fish even

  • They don't even pay attention to other shrimp, this one never did anyway, they would hang out together. He is fine with corals too. He grabs something every once in a while if there is food there. I HAD some small bar gobies, notice the HAD in caps.

  • My purple reef lobster eats small fish

  • @fisheydude9 My 20g for my freshwater tank was used.

I got a 20gallon + light + hood + under gravel filter and back-mounted filter for 15 dollars. What I personally would suggest would be to be very careful with the tank you get, inspect it thoroughly and be prepared to replace panels and seals before you use it for worst-case scenario. Make sure you clean it really well too. I haven't had any problems with mine. :) I guess if you wanted to spend 200 bucks for the same, it's all personal.

  • @thetifoune brittle and serpant stars are perfect in a reef aquarium!

  • Your starfish is not reefsaf!
