@Klassix1 Yes, but they tend to use it more musically, that's that what makes the difference. @peccoz I agree that most monome videos are musically poor, but they illustrate the capabilities of the midi controllers quite well.

guys where can I download the software to make the padkontrol do this? I tried the monomulator site but the link is dead and all other links I've found lead to the same dead link :(. Someone please hook a brother up..

how come most of this monomic music really sounds like dog poo? No offense, really- I dig the work with the controllers, but if you close your eyes, you just want to stop the music instantly! I wonder if there's a way to MUSICALLY use this stuff.
