It hurts me to see this. He was here in Seattle just a couple of years before he died. I wanted to go, but it was a 21+ show and I was only 19 then - a shame. When I read that he'd died, I regretted having missed my chance to see him, even if it was beyond my control. In retrospect, part of me wishes I'd just tried to sneak in. Even if I'd been kicked out, I still might've caught a glimpse of the Cool Ruler in person. It would've been worth it.
