She forgot to mention that along with the laugh-out-loud funny moments, there's also a lot of sad moments in it. I cried more than once when I read it.

Love "A Dirty Job". Have 7 of Moore's books currently, and right now I'm reading "You Suck" which is a sequel/follow up to his earlier novel "Bloodsucking Fiends".

anyone who likes Kurt Vonnegut and Douglas Aadams should check out Christopher Moore.
A Dirty Job is one of his best books, althoe my favority is Lamb.

The book is great...well the audio version is what I listened to. Fisher Stevens does the reading of a couple of his books and does a great "dirty job" with the characters in this one.
