@digitalflava It does not matter anymore who was created first.If God (not you) had a problem with women in authority over men he never have given Deborah (a prophetess) authority over the entire nation of Israel .Take the gentleman's advice and study some more start with the 16th chapter of Romans.

God is not the author of confusion! Instead of the church talking about things like this and what women should/should not be wearing which has nothing to do with the saving of souls. Also in the old testament we had to go to the priest to prey to GOD for us. The church cast too much judgement and people wonder why its so hard for people to get saved. Stop judging. GOD say come as you are, so sisters if all you have is pants wear those pants and go get your soul right until you can buy a dress.

Hey brother, this may be of help. In 1 Cor. 14:34-38 & 1 Tim. 2:11-14 God talks about the same thing! However, as you compare scripture you get more truth. Isa. 3:12 also gives us another hint. John 8:17 says that when you have 2 witnesses the law is established I provided 3. I hope this will help you.

Like all of the others who believe FALSELY that there is an actual scripture granting women AUTHORITY in the bible (but can't quote it), you prove nothing and are saying just as much. Who made you the Christ to speak otherwise? Its you that changes the meaning of Yahuwah's will and commandments, not me. Envious? I guess Paul was also ENVIOUS in his statement too as he told women to keep silent in church's and to have NO authority over men, huh?

We are not talking about who was created first. I think everyone knows who was. We are talking about 1 Tim. 2:13 NOT Gen 2. But you did get it right ONE time when you said that a woman and this is your quote "can not have authority over him". I bet you still didn't get that! OVER HIM----her own husband HELLOOOOO!!! And not them every other man!!!! I am glad that my wife doesn't come under your rule, if she did, she couldn't have a say to other men by telling them where to jump off at!

@accident49 - Of course YOU AREN'T talking about who was created first, but Paul is. Thats the reason why woman CAN NOT have authority over man is because MAN was created before the woman. It s Yahuwah's order. The chain of command is Man, Woman, the children. Thats Family. In ministry, its the EXACT same and that is why Paul stated it. If a woman can not have ANY authority over her own husband, how is she given authority over another woman's husband? Its a no brainer if you truly studied.

well, you are worng also. Paul DID NOT say for a woman to have "NO AUTHORITY over MEN" . It says "over a man" (1 Tim 2:12). READ it Stop changing God's word! Men means plural- Man means one- One (1) man and ONE (1) woman. The way you say means, A woman (one-1) can have authority over MEN. That means that A woman could have authority over men-that would include you and me. So, What woman was Paul talking about and What man is was he talking about? --- You need to study some more.

@accident49 - WHAT!!!!? SMH at the utter ignorance of some people who THINK they know scripture! OVER Man or Men, its the SAME EXACT THING. Helloooooo! Plural or singular, Man was created first, then woman. Paul establish Yahuwah's order of creation suggesting that a woman, being created second and from the rib of Man (1 Tim. 2:13), can not have authority over him in ministry and Family just as Children CAN NOT have authority over parents for the SAME EXACT REASON.... and u say I need to study?
