Ok,I'm Italian,and I don't know much about american political situation. But,sicerely,I can't understand why people is so disappointed by Clint. His

critique is not irrational as someone says. I think that it is a brilliant way to express ideas. The whole thing of the empty chair i symbolical,and the use of irony makes the message clearer to understand and easier to remember. He wasnt' rude in his way of speaking. I'm not disappointed by him..instead my respect for him has increased!

Well, Americans are stupid and prone to jump to conclusions: They don't see an artist, they see a madman talking to himself.

I do think the chair thing was a little...weird...but he did raise some legitment points that seem to have evaporated because of the spectacle. Poor Eastwood, even into his 80s he's a misunderstood artist.
