As the title says, this is a Brassidium "Gilded Urchin" that I had the privileged of watching in the nursery I worked at for some time until someone bought it for me. It has since flowered once and it now filling out a new spike. Never been a very big 'flower' guy, but this is one mighty fine looking plant. I fertilize it weekly with a 1/4 to 1/3 strength Schultz 19-31-17 Orchid food. If anyone has any recommendations for a more natural orchid fertilizer please do let me know. In the video I say it's a Brassia. it is actually a Brassia x Oncidium hybrid.

  • @EyeStabbingYum yes I'm working on it. My computer is giving me problems, but as soon as the problem is taken care of, I will post an update on everything. Thanks for watching!!!

  • Can you do an update on all of your nepenthes? (including seedlings)

  • The bloom lasted for about 5 weeks. It's throwing up a lot of vegetative growth now. Might divide it for spring. Not sure yet.
