The Greatest Proposal reaction ever in Maine

On Valentine's Day, Kate gets the biggest surprise of her life when Nick, her boyfriend since Junior year of high school gives her an engagement ring after 5 long years of courting. She just goes nuts! There are 3 huge surprises really....wait for them, count them...each one tries to out do the other. I love when she says, "Everyone is here. Everyone's here!" What an expression. But wait another minute after that for the grand finale tear jerker. I'll let you be surprised. So sweet. She is so animated and he is so charming that you will melt under the romance of the moment. This was a well planned out proposal. The setting was just perfect. It was a lit up grape arbor in her parents yard in Maine that she knew all so well, but she was blind folded and had no idea where she was! It was decked out with 1,000 little white lights. He had teased her all day by bringing her to romantic places, setting her up and then....giving her a box with a...barrett! Or taking her to the lighthouse overlooking the ocean and looking into her eyes and...changing the mood suddenly. She was torchered all day! Well, the community of family and friends were torchered also. Everyone was waiting for these two to get married. It seemed like it would never happen, so when it did, Nick felt it appropriate to invite everyone (and everyone came; godfather, kindergarten friends, college friends, church friends, on and on, 60 or so in all.) The young couple were way beyond needing for their proposal to be a private event. Katie could actually care less where it happened, she just wanted to get married! This was a community extravaganza. We went right inside after the proposal into their engagement party with lots of food and champagne. It was a glorious proposal, enjoy it all. They are such a happy couple and are so happy to have found each other at such a young age. True love happens. We hope and pray that someday you will have the desire of your heart also.
