Shut up, Coheed and 3 are both kickass. Some of their falsetto vocal parts are similar, 3 is just more prog-metallish.

I am surprised at how many people did not know about him being influenced by the singer of 3, and then make a big deal, they are both amazing bands, I followed coheed from when they were shabutie to coheed then found 3. THREE is Joey Eppards band started in 1992 with his brother Josh Eppard when josh was 12 years old. Josh quit THREE in 2000 and jouined up with Shabutie which soon became Coheed. Claudio used to follow Joey around and joey encouraged claudio to sing. My band SPB showed claudio and coheed how tro be a touring band and how to put on a big rock show.. My brother Joey and Joshs dad negotiated the first coheed contracts and coheed recorded in the recording studo we all buit together.
