David Horowitz Interrupted at UCSC

A crasher interrupts David Horowitz's talk at University of California, Santa Cruz on 5-27-2008

Prior to the camera being turned on, the crasher charged into Jack Baskin Auditorium, shouting "You there! You should not be allowed to speak!" to which David Horowitz (briefly seen in the lower left corner of the video) replied, "Oh great, here comes another moron."

As you can see in the video the crasher was escorted out of the auditorium by police.

Cameras were not allowed in the auditorium so I could not take a high quality video. A full, high resolution video of this talk should be available somewhere, as it was recorded by several hi-def cameras.

Now what if a conservative came in and said that to Michael moore? I know it would be all over the news. But liberals are always allowed to suppress conservative thinking which is free thinking.

Actually, I found that alot of his points at this talk on "academic freedom" were extremely agreeable, and I'm a moderate liberal. He presented a very convincing, valid argument. The problem is, most people haven't heard it. Most people who know about Horowitz's position seem to only have seen the five minute clip from Hannity and Colmes. Trust me that this is a very skewed version of his position. Just read the paper and decide for yourself. I had much more respect for him after this talk.
