@yootesa1515 Actually it is based off of a lick he did during his unaccompanied solo during "Suicide Solution" on the Tribute album. Watch this vid watch?v=yPMd9vxZb50 from 1:26 to 1:36 before he goes into the tapping and you will hear that this lick is pure Randy Rhoads. :)

just buy the tribute album go to track 8 fast forward to the tapping part of the spotlight solo and figure out more by ear

@MrAtomic1000 Overrated? Randy doesn't get enough credit, people find Kirk Hammett, Billy Joe Armstrong alot more skilled just because of popularity. In my point of view, Randy is one of the best guitarists next to Jimi Hendrix and Marty Friedmen.

When you hear the unaccompanied Solo his PEntatonic scales just have that something Extra I can not place...iTs as if her is using major and Miner notes adn its sounds different than the Connected pentatonic you have shown ...Do you know what I mean? Like He uses the entire Range,,and is filled more than the standard penta. Could you explain? or may be show is the extra notes he may have played Sounds like he Mixed the Pentatonic scale with Aeolian scale.....What are your thoughts on this?

YOu Never seen Randy Play a Strat but he Loved Stats. Randy felt they did not have a big enough sound Live. HE LOved Stats and Played a Dean too
