Sonic and the Secret Rings - Pirate Storm Mission 2 (Head to Head) - 33.55

Bet you didn't see this one coming, old subscribers :p. Just showing that even though I'm working on a Baten Kaitos speedrun, I will go back to Sonic eventually. In fact, I hope to do some SatSR speedruns for SDA when my BK:O run is over.

That being said, just in case I do an Individual Level table in the future, I'm recording all future SSR videos with my DVD recorder...which unfortunately creates a slight, slight ammount of controller lag. Unfortunately, don't expect any crazy weaving, as I probably can't do it with this slight handicap (as it is hard enough in the first place).

As for this level, I probably didn't need that air dash at the end, but better safe than sorry, as this level has a lot of difficult tricks. Also, two of the tricks in this videos are new as of tonight (although they are only modifications of previous tricks).

When I switched to using a DVD recorder, I found myself eventually needing to get a signal splitter to do away with the lag (by making what's sent to the recorder and what's sent to the TV separate streams).

Sadly, last I checked, those things were somewhat pricey (too bad I can't remember where I got mine, else I'd tell you what I paid). But if you want one I can keep searching for you.
