  • v10s arnt livable, look at vipers, one of the most dangerous crazy cars when in production, a mustang would be a catastrophe with a v10...

  • @25Celtics Vipers are dangerous because they don't have traction control or electronic stability control. It has nothing to do with how many cylinders the engine has.

  • A v10 in a stang is useless. Just the customizing it takes to make this work + power/dollar cost is retarded.

  • @dodge69874 Ford doesn't go for hurr durr HP/L and they know how to balance their cars.

  • @hjjfffaa Power output. And this vehicle seemed to be running beautifully with that set up.

  • @dodge69874 Near what output? You do realize that specific output is stupid and going for some really high number upsets the balance of the machine as a whole, right?

  • @hjjfffaa No, but horsepower figures do and when you consider that Ford wasn't able to produce a N/A engine producing anywhere near that output until about 10 years later, it's pretty impressive.

  • @5spd5thgen Yeah, I believe they said it was 25 lbs. lighter than the 5.4L in the 2000 Cobra R.

  • @5spd5thgen I hope you're aware the Viper's v10 is an all aluminum 8.4L and the front of the Viper's V10 is right behind the front axle.

  • @25Celtics the viper v10 is incredibly heavy. Its an 8.5 liter which weighs a ton. this is an all aluminum 5.8 which wouldnt be much weight distribution difference from a standard mustang gt
