Years ago, Carissa was abandoned in the lobby of the juvenile hall in Fresno. She ran away from group homes and ended up on the streets. Homeless and alone, she begged and stole to feed herself. Foster care ignored her. The juvenile justice system failed her. With no one to turn to, she was taken to "Motel Drive," a street in Fresno known for prostitution, and told what to do. She was twelve years old.

  • Her mother was awful, wasn't she? It was quite clear the mother had some major psychological issues.

  • I hate when people say first.

I like this idea and puts my math degree, JD & MBA to work! We can also take the motels b/c they are actually charging the "working" girls more and that violates federal law! Thanks for the comment!

  • stupid bitchass mom go CARRISA! AHAHAH

  • This was a really good documentary

  • Sadly the mother seems to be locked in deep self denial about the fact she married a man who regularly brutalized the whole family.
