Always loved this, never knew what it was from until I finally saw Midnight Cowboy last night, don't really know why I'd not seen it before.

Beautifully haunting track & lovingly played. Brought a tear to my eye, like the ending of the film.

Hi baz - I believe it's key of "C". The recording is from the original soundtrack of "Midnight Cowboy'", which also has IMO the best version/arrangement of Nilsson's "Everybody's Talkin'.
