and what is sad, lift the sham ban or not, we still are not permitted to refine more oil into fuel here in the states, thanks democRATs. You are not gonna get away with the lies no more, enjoy your control while you have, cause you are gonna destroy your self from within. America, look into the third partys, time for them to have a chance.

The language of the bill was presented very late the night before, to the Republicans, by the Democratic leadership. Further more the only debate that was schedualed/allowed was for early the very next morning, giving no time for review of the legislation.
It opened up the shores for drilling all right. And it laid out penalties for any company attempting to drill off shore in any form.

Listen, I saw the debate in the congress last year that supposedly lifted the 27 year old ban on off shore drilling and it was a sham at its core that was rushed through by the Democrats. Any politician or journalist that claims that it was a serious attempt to answer to the demands of the American people, and even look seriously at drilling in any form, is a straight out LIAR.

Offshore drilling isn't such a big deal. Personally onshore drilling is more of a pain in the ass. You're just trying to take the kids out to the beach and all of a sudden you've got a million barrels of Oklahoma Crude shooting up your bum!

On Friday, January 9, Mayor Sheila Dixon (D) of Baltimore was indicted following a three-year investigation.
Mayor Dixon, a member of New York Mayor Michael Bloombergs anti-gun gang Mayors Against Illegal Guns, allegedly did not report lavish luxuries such as fur coats and trips given to her by a local developer. She is also accused of stealing at least $2,000 worth of gift cards for her own personal use. The gift cards were donated to the city for needy families.

This was a deliberate and calculated move by the Democratic leadership to con and lie to the American public on mass. Only the existence of a sympathetic media bias would allow polititians to be so bold. Of course we all know how unlikely that is.
