@terrybeaton covers are always tricky, especially when you take on legendary tracks but I think she did a pretty nice job reinterpreting it to fit her. She was probably just paying tribute to a band/song that inspired her and if she were looking to add fans she'd probably be better covering something a lil more current no?!?

@roman3 As far as I know, she did this one and Us and Them on an "honouring Pink Floyd" cover album, but I don't know the story on whether she was invited or she did the songs on her own account.

I love Sarah's music and her gorgeous voice. Why she chose to cover such a song as this is a puzzle to me. Maybe she thought she neede some kind of "cool"cred or something. Some songs can only make you look small when covered. I think it has to do with the way Pink Floyd produced it into the stratosphere.

The artist is Sarah Slean, not Clean. Most the time people make the opposite typo on twitter. ;)

Her name is spelled Sarah Slean with an S beginning her last name.
