Start by getting your hands on a guidebook for Morocco. After that start looking for the cheapest flights. Just do it. I moved to Morocco when I turned 65 in 2009, and very glad I did.

A lot of people say they would like to visit Morocco "some day", but some day never comes. Your biggest expense would be the plane ticket, as hotels and food are surprisingly cheap. Why not get a guidebook from your local public library? I like The Rough Guide-Morocco, but many people prefer the Lonely Planet one.
