@philosophy75 brown and dark aren't the same thing unless you're going by that old racist brown paper bag shit. brown skin means medium tone. for example, meagan good is a brown skin girl, she's neither light or dark skin, just in between. red bones are tan/light skin with reddish undertones (ex. Beyonce), and yellow bones are very light with yellowish coloring. lisa bonet and her daughter zoe kravitz fit this description.

I don't want to sound like a pussy now but this is the fact, if you don't like it, it's not my prolem. If you notice he try to sing in a Caribbean accent (mostly Jamaican) now in Jamaica un-like the US brown skin is ligt skin. Not dark skin. This is for the people that don't understand y he has light skin in the vid.

When I first heard this song I immediately thought of girls my complexion. (Cocoa like) I'm pretty sure he may have been talking about all Black girls, but the sad part about this video is that you showed majority lightskin girls, with I guess "the token darker skinned girl" at 0:40.
