Get up and try it with me while I explain ~ Levez-vous et faites-le avec moi pendant que je l'explique!

I don't teach Qi Gong, I teach Thai massage. But this is a good martial arts exercise for Thai massage therapists. It helped my knees, and so I'm passing on the wisdom. If working on the mat, on the floor, hurts your knees - or if you simply have knee problems, past injury or surgery - try this. Do it once, every day, for a just few minutes, and you'll notice a change soon enough.

If you're interested in martial arts training, I recommend
- the Montreal Gong Fu Research Center (Ethan Murchie taught me this one)
www.montrealgongfu.com
- or if you're on the other side of the pond, check out
www.GongFuLondon.com

As for me and Thai massage, I'm a teacher located in Lavaltrie, Qc, about a half hour away from Montreal. More info and videos at www.

- the Montreal Gong Fu Research Center (Ethan Murchie m'a appris celle-ci)
www.montrealgongfu.com

  • Awesome! I hope to help practitioners avoid some of the pains I went thru when I first started (but I had Runner's Knee and didn't know) and when my Qi Gong teacher taught me this, he saved my knees. I never had pain again. Metta, Sophie!

  • Thanks Stephanie! I've just recently felt a twinge or two in the knees and have started using standing foot work more to give them a break. I'll be trying this for sure. I have enjoyed and learned something from all your videos. Peace, Sophie (thaimassagelondon.ca)
