A special proud moment for me, my pop star brother Mark has been the drummer with 60's hit makers Vanity Fare for nigh on 40 years now, these days they are busier than ever, and this year they tour most of it as the heart of the Solid Silver Sixties Tour 25th anniversary, which brought them to Glasgow's premier venue, here they are backing Peter Sarstedt on his big song, "Where Do You Go To My Lovely"

  • Hello ppl, and thanks for your reminder of a truly great 25th anniversary 60's night medicinmusic, I had the pleasure of attending it last thursday in Folkestone Kent it was agreat evening and hope you or someone can help me in remembering the title of a song Peter Sarstedt also sang which involved the word Africa several times about midway through his performance, it too was a great song but I had never heard it before and hope to be able to find it please - Tony

  • I saw this show and it was a superb three hours and everybody was absolutely excellent, and massive credit must go to Vanity Fare who backed Mike, Peter, Brian and Dave admirably and were on stage for most of the night!! WHat a talented bunch and I loved the accordion and the sax at the end!! 10/10

  • Peter is a gentleman, from the 60's school of singer/songwriters. It is a great honour to play drums for him.
