Her paintings have also been internationally awarded two times MERIT PRIZE in the WORLDWIDE STAMP DESIGN CONTEST IN JAPAN, HONOR MENTION in the PRIMER SALON CENTROAMERICANO DE PINTURA, HONDURAS, and she has been declared DISTINGUISHED VISITOR OF THE CITY, MIAMI, FLORIDA, U.S.A.
