or, if this was a village only accessibly by boat, they would have to either called in a vet from a city, maybe 80 miles away who would cost far too much for them to afford, so they take care of it one their own.

That poor cow is so sick and infected that I wouldn't want to feed my dogs any dogfood made from that cow, much less feed ANYthing from that cow to humans. Down there, though, they probably do, and even live after so doing. What a mess. RN
