I know of the original song and enjoy it as well as this one. First, Mr. Bungle is the name of the band and the singer is Mike Patton. Seeing as you didn't know this simple fact then I assume this is the only song of Mr. Bungle's you have listened to. You're basing your opinion of his singing based on a technique he used for an avante garte re-imagining of a popular song. I recommend you listen to him sing in Mondo Cane or some of the tracks off of the album California.

Amazing ! For anyone who loves plain music (unbiased by region or language or any other discrimination) - this one is one helluva rederance.
And yes - I feel good as one who had grown up with these songs around me as a kid...
I would love to live the moment in a Damstadt rock fest...
This is serious hardwork - for those who may want to reject Mike's work...as some kinda joke !
