try integrate sin^2 x x^2 dx and it will show you every passage to get the solution. I've been at one of his lectures and he searched "tides in Naples when Miley Cyrus was born". this is the greatest project in the whole world if you consider that almost every data outputted by Alpha is the result of computation and not only copied from a database.
Who cares about media and TV? Next you will be promoting TV wrestling. We do not tools that provide information that should not be used as the basis of scholarship. Try to think of areas that we need Alpha to expand into. I suggest demography, geography, racial discrimination to name a few.
There are plenty of tools for database and computation. What is needed is information on complex social concerns. For example, what are the numbers of non high school graduates in the US urban areas over the last 10 years? And identify geographically increasing pockets of ignorance in the US. This is the type info that is needed. Alpha can get there but not unless it is inviting to scholars.
you idiot, it's not meant to be the next wikipedia but its meant for little things that you search for on google but you never manage to find. They're obviously expanding it into different categories such as television/media/
It's great! And it's free!

who cares about the boring things you searched?

Those those people who gave me a thumbs down actually search for things on Wolfram Alpha like:
sunflower (nothing but Latin names)
CNN (no mention of news station)
clint eastwood (date and place of birth, wow, what a lot of info!)
Obviously they didn't....

It's made for database and computation.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Wolfram Alpha is an epic fail when you look up things not related to numbers.
