The part that killed me was that he couldn't do it properly even with his eyes opened... and his parents encouraged him to put on a blinder? Reminds me of how Michelle Wie was mismanaged by her father and set her back YEARS in development as a result. And not even a fair comparison to Michelle Wie because she actually was a child prodigy. You want to know what a real child piano prodigy is like, both as a person and as a pianist? look up "Emily Bear" on youtube and see what she could do at 6.

I wonder if his parents even know music. Did they put this video up because they decided their son had mastered this piece and it was time to move on? I have gone through many of his videos and I dare say NONE of the pieces were ready. What's the point of playing so many VERY difficult pieces when none of them were played properly? Stick to the basics, polish the fundamental skills, and try not to make him something that he isn't, just so that you can show off to your non-musical friends!
