why was she scared to stop making videos?

shes probably being held hostage somewhere and being tortured. one day like in 2015 she will probably escape and make a video telling what happened.

Also, where did you hear about this "original post?" She was just making videos for her friends, and 7chan found the videos and thought she was annoying. The videos spread from *chan to *chan. She had already quit Gaia long before any of this happened, and in fact was rather confused by her sudden rise to stardom.

You mean "Sarah Palin?" Yes, I am aware of that. That was for the lulz. I've talked to Eyrev, the guy who hacked Boxxy's account... he did it because he was confused about her motives. He thought she was something that she was not, that she was trying to be something that she was not. He wasn't doing it for the lulz; he was doing it because he believed he was helping people.  He believed he was helping her. He did not wish to credit Anonymous for his actions.

That was Boxxy's original post. Asking a truce between Gaia and Anonymous. Anon wouldn'tve attacked her if it were just the videos; she wouldn'tve become a queen if it were only for the videos.

And I'm sure it was Anon. It doesn't matter if they forfeit their anonymity, they do stuff like this for the lulz. Look up Sarah Palla, if you don't believe me.

Arguably, Anonymous took no action... the guys who hacked her accounts did so under persistent off-site pseudonyms, thus forfeiting their anonymity. Thus, while some of them may have believed themselves to be acting in the name of Anonymous, they weren't... if it can be attributed to specific individuals, it is not the work of Anonymous.

Also, I still don't know what you mean... I never heard anything about a truce.

Calling for a truce is more or less calling for peace. Of course, she was only normal. She still requests that she not be called a "queen." I don't think she was a martyr, but the fact that she was innocent still makes it wrong for Anonymous to take the action it did.

Since when is it cowardice for someone from an imageboard that prides itself on anonymity to take measures in order to keep himself anonymous? Drop the tough guy act. This is the internet, and you're not very intimidating.

Boxxy wished for no such thing, though. At what point did she say anything about wishing for peace? Putting words in her mouth and making her out to be more than she ever meant to be only serves to further deify her. She was a victim, sure, but she wasn't a martyr... can't we all just let her be a normal person?

That's fairly ignorant of you... the line between newfag and oldfag and the line between Boxxy hater and Boxxy lover are two entirely seperate lines. Assuming that they are the same thing only serves to turn both into generic, meaningless insults, much like "gay."
