I remember those backyard barbecues and card playing parties especially in the sixties and seventies. Every family member within a 50 mile radius would show up. Bringing food, drinks, games, blues records and then we would enjoy a good time til dawn the next day. I wonder do families still enjoy this kind of closeness?

This here is the real rhythm and blues that my moms, aunts, uncles and neighbors would listen to in the hood. Man those were the days before Hip- Hop and computers ruined Black American music.
