Would you believe Dick Dale was in Tulsa Ok a couple of weekends ago. Apparently from the article in the paper, he has led a pretty clean life, no drugs or alcohol.
You probably know this but he had a version of this tune in 1965 on Capitol Records called oddly enough, LET'S GO TRIPPIN' 65. Always did enjoy this particular song even though it was not that big of a hit here in OKC, as well as other surfin' songs similar to this one.

In the early 1960s, I would down to the Rendezvous Ballroom in Balboa to dance the Surfer's Stomp to "Trippin." What fun we had, pure clean fun.
