  • This composition is set to the pentatonic Indian Raga Hamsadhwani (literally meaning "Swan Sound" in Sanskrit).

The notes of this Raga are C D E G B, when played in the C scale.

Here, Prem Joshua and his band have beautifully captured the emotional flavour of this particular Raga, which is primarily dedicated to the Elephant-Headed God Ganesha, Inspires Confidence in the Seeker & Destroys All Obstacles in his/her Path.

Joy, Celebration, Rejuvenation...How very True! And Confidence, as well!

  • thanks a million been looking for this for ages. the first time i listened...i listened about 10 times!!

  • All salute to you for such a Beautuful composition.

  • Great job Prem. I am so impressed with your devotion and knowledge.

Hansdhwani has been employed by many musicians ( both North & South Indian) in a variety of Bhajans. Your composition is very impressive. Instead of moving to Goa, you should move to Melbourne, FL (Free housing!!!).

    love and good wishes.
