  • Yay for people ruining the list in the comments for those who have yet to watch the whole video. -.-

  • if you take away alice in chains, ozzy, ratm, mettalica,, and megadeath the rest of this list is pretty much shat, there might have been one or two other bands that were ok, but shat like corrosion, sepultura and all that other death metal crap just sounds like the singers sound like what happens when u have had too much to drink the night b4 and are prayig to the porcelein queen

  • The Black Album is #1 metal album of the 1990s? Spa fon!

  • painkiller #21? jajaja its the 1st

  • @StanHowser First, this crap is not metal. If you want alternative metal, there's Faith No More, King's X, Helmet, White Zombie, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, those bands are metal and are good. I don't care for the impact those nu metal bands had, as their music sucks, and so does the music they influenced. The worst of Sabbath and Motorhead is still better than the best of Slipknot, Limp Bizkit and Korn.

  • @TheGreatDuck Spoken like a true metal elitist. Just admit it, you are biased against mainstream metal. Those bands that you've said that sucked had released albums that had a crucial impact on 90's metal. Alternative metal was big during that decade, you can't deny that. The albums that MrMotorblue mentioned were forgettable albums by great bands.

  • @Volumesofdoom First of all, you probably meant the other way around. Second, this list, while not bad, has crap such as Dillinger Escape Plan, Slipknot, Korn, Soulfly and Godsmack, and all of the albums MrMotorblue3 listed are betten than them.

  • @Volumesofdoom sorry i disagree if black album was another band's album then yes it could be a good album but its not a metallica album...too early in their history for an album like black album...

  • @MrMotorblue3 Those albums that you listed aren't even top 50 worthy let alone top 100 worthy. The Black album is a better album than Painkiller, musically and impact wise.

  • kick ass list. The last good decade for Metal
