@Codyjak2010 It took me years before I knew that. His holiday albums are fantastic. I just need to find my copy, it's in my room somewhere.

I'm going to see Kenny on December 20th!!!

@TheMrdonuts What's your beef with this beautiful music?
-
Soft music for soft people.

@aocfreak I think you are right. I like Kenny's music I have six of his albums and he gets better as he tries to make each album sound a little different than the previous. I do not know many people except maybe Bruce Springsteen who can do that. Kenny's sound is not just jazz. Sometimes it is soul and sometimes it is Latin. He likes to break the rules and why some say he is too commerical is beyond me.

@dap1mp If you've yet to hear a saxaphone player that has great intonation, I don't know what to tell you. If that's really true, then you haven't listened to jazz - there are so many experts and even heroes of this intrument. From the greatest sax player of all time, Sidney Bechet, to the magnificent Charlie Parker, to Cannonball Adderly and Stan Getz, to Steve Lacy. There's a whole tradition here. Kenny G is not part of it - emphatically so, rebelliously so - and it's fair to wonder why.

@dap1mp Well, Michael Brecker had pretty great intonation. But even guys who are sharp sometimes can sound awesome. Trane was sharp a lot of the time on soprano but he sounded badass. Kenny just doesn't.
-
@dap1mp I don't know what else to tell you except that what you're saying is not true...

@fruitydickhole And i have yet to hear a saxophonist that is perfectly in tune all the tiem
He say that he still need to practice a lot. I guess he could use a Tuner sometimes.
