If you ever get a chance to see these guys and you are a fusion fan they will blow your mind!They played in los angeles in 2000 and blew the roof of the place!Really abunch of nice guys also,I would go to Japan to see them again.Thanks for the post.

Was this at Nearfest? I saw them there and it looks like the same stage. Could be wrong though.

Ah, the amazing Yoshihisu Shimizu - he's a dentist at his practice when he's not doing this. When he does, every one of their recordings has been an amazing five star masterpiece.

KENSO is the best japanese band I've heard in the prog.jazz-rock area.
In a softer vein related to the Cantreburian sound of bands like National Health, Hatfield and The North and Caravan I recommend HAT AND FIELD !.
