UPDATE: May 2009, Thunder Bay, Ontario has allowed the forced hair cutting of a 7 yr old little First Nation boy by a teacher's aid at McKellar Park Central Public School. They never fired the teacher's aide. In fact, "the Crown" says it was not that big of a deal.

This is really sick, cruel, hateful, and rude. Many children forced to go to these schools were abused in many ways, to include rape, sexual molestation, beatings, and murder.

This was taken from scenes of Steven Spielberg's Into the West but it is based on true events.

In reality, it was worse than what was shown in the movie.

  • I want to see the historic photos, NOT the red messages blocking them!

  • @athompson7 Uh, well, they're not historic photos. They are movie stills and if you don't want to read it, click on the button above that dismantels them....or you can just leave and come back when you learn better communications skills. Ever heard of manners? Is it really that hard to TRY to be polite?

  • @lbomb8 What about them? Regarding the Jews and your ridiculous comparison to their treatment with Natives...don't count on Indians creating their worldwide assassination squad like Massod anytime soon. It goes completely against the cultural belief system. Natives are not assassins. Jews have chosen to be. Don't count on Natives secretly buying nukes. Israel has something like, what? 300 of them? You honestly expect that to be any kind of solution? They are not MASS MURDERERS, BY CHOICE. Next?

  • Thunder Bay is a horrible city for racism on all sides. I hate it. Who cares what religion or color you are? People need to grow up.

  • @TheItalianStallion33 Whatever dude, I don't want to argue. Personally, when I went to other cities they seem a little more friendly. For the record it was a lot more than 7 people, it's been random strangers, and it's constant.

  • @geegee765 And how many ppl is that? 3? 5? 7? Youre point is still not justified. There is a race problem everywhere in the world. the problem lies within the individuals, not an entire city. Go down to Toronto, there are just as many prujudice feelings from some ppl as there are in Calgary, in LA, in New York, in Rome, and in Sydney.

  • @TheItalianStallion33 I never called you racist and if you read my comments I was trying to tell others that we're not all racist. I even said most of the city isn't racist, so I'm not sure where you're coming from. There is still a race propblem that includes SOME people not most.

  • @TheItalianStallion33 There is racism in EVERY city on earth. How can an entire city be racist??? You sound lik such an idiot when you say that. I'm so offended b/c you are, in fact, calling ME racist b/c I live in Thunder Bay.

  • @geegee765 And WHAT exactly makes it a racist city and moreso than others?

"No I never said everyone was, but it is a pretty racist city" ... that is such a dumb and ignorant statement, you are still saying the majority of the city is racist.

  • @TheItalianStallion33 No I never said everyone was, but it is a pretty racist city. Most people I imagine are not, but this city is more racist than most it seems.

  • @geegee765 I agree with your other comment....but arent YOU judging all of Thunder Bay, saying they are racist?? We are not.
