There is no program. This is frame by frame animation. There is no magic button currently that can give you the look of old fashioned rotoscoping. Roll up your sleeves dude, and get to work.

hi, i'm planning to do my thesis film rotoscoped, can you lead me where I could learn the stuff and be successful with my project (sites, tutorials, tips, animators) thanks!

Unless your thesis film is only a few minutes long, your talking about a ridiculous amount of work. This animation took over 60 hours to do. There is no "filter" or treatment that will give you the rotoscope look. You HAVE to draw 12-20 pictures per second to make it look like this. It is extremely time consuming and tedious.

This took approximately 50 - 60 hrs total from beginning to end. Many, Many hours drawing the lines by hand at 12 frames per second.

This was made for a company called Alpine Access. They are the #1 home operator company in the United States. This was a lot of work, but worth it in the end. We are planning on doing another one possibly in a week or two.
