@fun4everyonebutyou The "J." stands for Joanne, and she often goes by Jo. Actually, she doesn't even have a middle name. Publishers wanted her to get a pen name because they were afraid that some people wouldn't pick the books up if they new the author was female. She chose the "K" after her grandmother Kathleen. A lot of her fans just like to think of her as Jo. It makes sense, seeing as how it is her name.
