Schnittke, we hardly knew ye! Cannot believe these people have to die before their genius is truly recognised. Thank the heavens that Gubaidulina, Penderecki, Pärt, Gorecki and others are still living legends, changing our concepts of what a masterful composition can be. Like them or not, they are at the forefront of revolution in these past 50years. R.I.P. Alfred Schnittke
