Abre Tu Mente // - To Firewerwolve ♥

Happy Birthday, Firewerwolve! Yes, technically your birthday was yesterday, but this thing gave me a lot of trouble. I have been working on it for 2 weeks or so, just for you, bestie. ♥

First, I want to talk about the video. I used quite a lot of After Effects, I only did the basic editing in Vegas. Therefore this took me quite a lot of time, since I constantly had to render and import / export between the programs. This is a very different style for me, I wanted to experiment with boxes ( gotta give some credit to Kitty there, who handle them so well, thank you for the inspiration, sweety! ), and when I saw Imani's "Ride With Me" beta a while ago I also wanted to give the whole comic-look a try, of course with a very different twist to it ( as you can see ). Kito were also a great source of inspiration on this, with her general technique and white backgrounds, etc etc.

Anyway, this is the first full vid I've made in a while. I'll admit that the song is cut, but that was due to repetitiveness, I honestly don't think I would be able to remain sane with even more 'Abre Tu Mente's. Hopefully the song won't drive you nuts as it is quite a special choice, and probably not what you would listen to usually, but there was once a cellphone commercial featuring song and my mood would always rise a few notches everytime it was on.

I've got lots of ideas for the future, my main project at the moment is featuring both rock and rap. I also have a couple of side-projects, one emotional one, and two crossovers. Hopefully I will be more active from now on. It is getting brighter outside, and winter has been screwing with my mood, so motivation has been relatively low. Once I get some more sunlight things will go a little faster. ^^

Edit: I dunno why it fucks up my whites and make them light grayish instead, stupid. T-T
