To cure this fault all you need is Bleach! I tried an air compressor on the pipes & a power washer in the reservoir, several times. They would solve the problem for about 10 minutes & it would got back to this again. To fix this I drained the washer reservoir as much as I could & poured in about half a bottle of bleach (500ml). I then took the car for a spirited drive to rinse it all around. Then I left it to settle for 12 hrs. I put the power washer into the reservoir & cleared out the bleach.
