http://www.mikeyssmail.com Using Eyelash Yarn and another yarn with it... you can create the cutest santa and Elf Hats using a round loom. Fun to make... about 45 minutes and you will have a wearable hat of your own. Match this hat with an imagination sweater or baby booties in my Youtube Vids.

  • I really don't get the hype of these looms. You have to buy a dif size loom 4 every hat, + all the special tools.Taking them out in a bag would be quite clumsy. If you'd learn to knit the conv way, you'd never ever need a loom, & you could create beautiful sts, & at any size! I'm a licensed K&C instructr, & this looks harder to do, a LOT of work, & very awkward. Reminds me of the 4 nails pounded into an old wooden thread spool. Learn 2 knit or crochet! It's MUCH MORE relaxing & MUCH easier!

  • @tambo56 Ha ha...yes... it may look awkward but not only is loom knitting easier for some people to learn and pick up on but its also easier for people to use especially people with health issues such as arthritis etc....these looms also come in sets of 4 with everything you need tool wise in the bag so its not too bad of a deal.....some people like it ...others don't....But I think its a great alternative for some....

  • Use 2nd Size up in the 4 pack... the colour is usually subjective to the manufacturer. It could be green or blue depending on who makes it.

  • what is the head measurement for the blue ring and for the red ring? I'm wanting to make a 12-13 inch hat circumference Thanks!

  • @jenningsd what sz hat are you trying to make??

  • i would like to know how much u think i could charge for these red loom hats at a craft show please?

  • @soxymary I don't ever tell anyone what something should be charged to be fair. It holds me accountable. In crafting, it's only as worth as much as someone is willing to pay. Chanel from my help desk is right about figuring out the costs...

  • Your AMAZING <3 Thank you Thank you!!!!

  • This is awesome I just started this yesterday and now I feel like superman at this

  • To do this i use one finger, on hand that's holding loom from underneath, to gently hold yarn against loom bottom. By experimenting with this Technic you will find the amount of pressure necessary for finger to keep yarn softly wrapped and not tight. Hope this helps you. Love your work. Devi

  • excelente..gracias

  • I just made my first baby hat thanks to you!! You are a great teacher and I would like to know if you have a video that shows how to make one of these baby hats without a brim? I found the hat is a little loose and I would like to make one that will fit a little more snugly on baby's head... Thank you sooo much for teaching me how to do this!! I am excited!!

  • What an awesome teacher you are. I can't wait to loom one or 100 of these adorable hats. Thanks for your instruction, look forward to watching more of your videos!!

  • You've cleared up soooo many of the mistakes I've been making for the last few years!!! Never been able to figure out knitting, so looming has been my 'outlet'. Love to make lots of hats and donate them, plus, my students love 'em! Great video, Mikey!! You are a very good teacher ;D
