With an average elevation of only 1.5m and the lowest highest point in the world, the Maldives is one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change and sea level rise on the planet. Projecting forwards to 2100, Paradise Lost looks at the possible scenarios for inundation and eventual disappearance of the small island nation, based on IPCC and Maldivian Government estimates.
