International Mother language Day in Canberra

On Saturday 24 February 2007, at the Bangladesh High Commission premises Canberra International Mother Language Day was observed through grand program organised by Bangladesh Australia Association Canberra in association with Bangladesh High Commission Canberra, PriyoAustralia.com and Bangla Academy Australia. The rich culture of 'Bangla' was portrayed through a dance drama to the distinguished guests from the diplomatic community, academia, the government and the media. It was a good learning opportunity for our younger generation on our Language and culture and which is vitally important for the future of our culture & heritage on the foreign soil.
