This is a very pretty but extremely sad track.

Best swan song in the history of absolutely everything.
As a recap, Ena joined Daein because Ashnard kidnapped Raj who was Ena's fiancee. Ashnard uses Raj as a mount. Ena hates the war but wants to be with Raj, so works her way up the ranks so she can be at Raj's (not Ashnard's) side. Then in the final battle Raj somehow dies with Ashnard...? That's the part I don't get. How did he die?

@Light48 Soren was worth it all!!! :p

Stupid Almedha
Its Because She Fucked Ashnard To Give Birth To Soren
That Bitch Fucked Up Raj & Ena's Life
& A Million Other Ppls

Dosh. :(

@Rubberman202 "Her love" is Rajaion, Ashnards "wyvern", who is actually Kurthnaga's older brother
-
It's interesting that Ena never tells anyone who "her love" is, and it's almost assumed that she's in love with Ashnard... Or was that just me? I got that impression when Nasir said "He thinks nothing of you!"
I probably need to beat the game again to find out exactly why she didn't tell anyone.
-
You know, this could have been fitting music when the story of the connections of Daein and Goldoa were being told.
-
this is actually a remix of the goldoa theme
-
the scene with ena and rajaion always makes me cry T.T
-
The themes of the dragons all seem to have the same general melody.......
-
Love this song! It´s beautiful. £>

That scene was so sad :(
-
Nope he dies, it's why Ena starts to cry
and his death is confirmed in Radiant Dawn anyway
but this is a very sad part of the game
again
-
Eh? Rajaion died? Just today I finished the game for the second time and I was left with the impression that he almost died but lived after the herons returned him to his true form.
I'll have to watch that part again on youtube to make sure.
-
Actually, Rajaion does die in Path of Radiance, If you read, he dies while ena comforts him.
-
Well, given the three year difference... I think he died inbetween the two games. He tried to go home and probably faded away that next night or something.
-
...I LOVE-ED YOU RAJAION!!! I was sooooooooo sad when he died...
-
You're right, he says it already in Radiant Dawn to Kurthnaga, I think. ^^
-
Personally, I believe he would've been a far more interesting ally in RD, him trying to move past the horrifying experience in PoR as his motivation. And he definitely would've been a more valuable ally than Kurthnaga.
-
Also, I believe Ike said something about him 'dying in her (Ena's) arms'.
-
No, he dies in Path of Radiance. After Rajaion's last line, everyone starts referring to him in the past tense "was." They wouldn't say that if he was merely unconscious.
This is quite possibly one of the strongest Fire Emblem, if not Video game pieces I've ever heard.
The emotion just pours out of it... it's too bad that the plot didn't have enough time to let you get an attatchment to Ena and Rajion's position...this piece is too beautiful.

Possibly the greatest plot twist in the history of fire emblem.
Who would have thought that Ashnard's mount actually was such an important character.
