Ive driven both the new Leon Cupra & the Cupra R, although Ive had an EP3 Type R for 4 years now (which i am still reluctant to get rid of!) and I prefer the older Cupra R, they are both great cars and I would be chuffed to have any of them if I ever sold my EP3, but if I had a choice it would defo be the older Cupra R, it drives better, feels just as quick & has a much better interior, I even think its a better looking car....

I agree the new one, doesn't feel as well built inside, neither does the new golf compared to old one, I guess that's just companies cost cutting, I'm picking my new cupra up on Thursday believe me they're quicker than the old cupra r but again I agree with you it doesn't feel any faster it just is.

ive got a 2004 leon cupra r, i test drove the new cupra, its a nice drive but does not seem any quicker and does not seem as well built, the dash seemed really plastic not like the audi dash in my leon. but i think i will be getting one, probably the K1 it looks a lot better than the standard cupra.

Drove 1 of these last wkend marvellous car,prob the best hot hatch I've ever driven. SEAT is now under the Audi wing with Lamborghini and VW have skoda & Bentley which is why I think seat is showing more flair than the skoda's
